A propos
Tucked into the last buttresses of the Mont Blanc, you will only have to contemplate the plunging view of the alpine pastures and the valleys. An exceptional view on the Bionnassay Glacier.
Departure: Go straight on to the Bellevue cable car, then follow the indications and the gently sloping path for the Chalets de l'Are, then follow the path along the glacier on the left. Follow the signs for the Nid d'Aigle. On your right, you dominate in the foreground, the seracs and crevasses of the glacier and in the background the Col du Tricot. You have a nice view on the Bionnassay glacier.
Level of the hike: Difficult : You flirt with the high mountain, careful trail sometimes aerial with metal ladders.
