Since July 2017, Chèvrerie Au Coeur de Montjoie has set up shop in Val Montjoie. Halfway between the center of Saint-Gervais and Les Contamines-Montjoie, live 67 goats, 23 kids and 4 billy goats.

The goats stay all year round in the hamlet of Le Vivier, grazing around the farm during the summer months.
