The highest hut in France, at 3835 m above the sea level, on the most crowded way to Mont Blanc.
Alpinists who have not booked will not be let inside the hut!
Please do not take that risk! Climbing the Mont Blanc is something that you need to prepare in advance; booking a night of rest in the hut is part of that process so please make a reservation. If the hut is full, postpone your ascent to another day.
CAMPING AND BIVOUACKING
Like previous years, any form of camping is forbidden by ministerial decree in the classified area of the Mt Blanc, including bivouacking.
This year, public authorities will implement an enforcement regime to ensure this will not happen. However, you may camp on the base camp of Tête Rousse (50 tents maximum).
Please inform the Tête Rousse hut warden if you wish to camp.
Reservation by internet obligatory to access this refuge. Bivouac forbidden
New directives from the prefecture of Haute Savoie are applicable since the summer of 2019 to all reservations in the refuges located on the normal way of Mont-Blanc: please read them.
No reservation by phone, exclusively by internet .
Take it in advance but be aware that many places are available in season from D-3 to 7am.
For safety reasons, mountaineers who have not booked will not be allowed in the shelter.
Reservation on the internet exclusively reserved for individual mountaineers.
Payment of the deposit only by credit card, returned in case of cancellation within the deadline (see special conditions)
Booking in the huts of the normal route of Mont Blanc (Nid d'Aigle, Tête-Rousse and Goûter) will be made only online up to 10 days before the date of the planned stay (this period was 20 days before). For bookings for a closer date (less than 10 days before the date of the planned stay), the reservation must be made by phone.
