The Ascenseur des Thermes represents an innovative approach to mobility. Operating on wastewater, it is the first inclined elevator in France to adopt this technology. Designed with a reduced carbon footprint and a transport capacity of up to 16 passengers per trip, it offers a rapid ascent over its 177-meter vertical drop. The thermal baths elevator is accessible to all, offering a practical and environmentally-friendly way to travel between the village of Le Fayet and the center of Saint-Gervais. For locals, residents and visitors alike, the elevator makes it possible to take full advantage of all Saint-Gervais has to offer (facilities, shops, leisure activities, etc.) while leaving the car in the garage. Opening times will be set to guarantee maximum accessibility all year round, with time slots adapted to different needs.
