Your questions most frequent

Is it possible to hike in the snow without snowshoes?

You can, but we strongly advise against it. Without snowshoes, you’ll be knee-deep in snow! Besides being unbearable, it’s extremely tiring and therefore dangerous. So don’t forget torent or buy equipment before you set off!

Do I need a guide to go snowshoeing in the Alps?

You can hire a guide to accompany you and show you the resort from another angle. However, this is not compulsory. All our itineraries are signposted and safe.

Is snowshoeing more difficult than hiking?

Not at all! Winter hiking in the mountains is a continuation of summer hiking. You’ll have no trouble walking in the snow with snowshoes.
