La Cure Saint-Gervais Mont-Blanc Cultural Center

Discover the town's heritage

Located in the heart of Saint-Gervais Mont-Blanc, La Cure has established itself as a new cultural hub offering visitors the chance to discover the commune’s heritage through a program of temporary exhibitions, a library, convivial spaces and heritage itineraries created as part of the European ITINERAS Passerelle program.

Throughout the year, La Cure presents two exhibitions in these spaces. Marcel Wibault, Edgard Bouillette, Samivel, Géo Dorival, and many other artists are on display on the second floor, unveiling the collection of mountain paintings and iconography recently acquired by the commune. The top floor, near the Saint-Gervais church, houses the interpretation center for the works of Father Kim En Joong, author of the latter’s stained glass windows.

A place of resources and documentation, the La Cure library offers a documentary collection of mountain books, which can be consulted on site, to delve into the history of our massifs.

Pile Pont Expo Space for contemporary culture

An original space dedicated to contemporary art! The bridge pillar, a vast 160 m², 9-metre-high architectural space of raw concrete, becomes the venue for ephemeral in-situ installations every summer.

Pile Pont Expo is a must for all art lovers passing through Saint-Gervais Mont-Blanc. This ephemeral exhibition space, nestled in the heart of the town’s central monument, its bridge, offers a unique, evolving and immersive artistic experience.

The ephemeral concept of Pile Pont Expo gives it a special dynamic. Indeed, exhibitions change regularly, offering visitors a constantly evolving artistic program. Each visit is a new adventure, with ephemeral works that give way to new creations the following summer.
