France's highest cog railway awaits you for a wonderful journey to the foot of Mont-Blanc.
Leaving from Le Fayet or Saint-Gervais, it takes skiers and walkers through forests and alpine pastures to the Plateau de Bellevue (1,900 m) and the Les Houches / Saint-Gervais ski area, in the heart of an exceptional panorama (panoramic view of the Bionnassay glacier).
Discover the 4 new railcars inspired by their predecessors, including Marguerite, the latest addition to the fleet, now present alongside Jeanne, Anne and Marie, the names of the daughters of the founder of the TMB operating company.
Booking is compulsory and can only be made via the Tramway website or at the station.
- TipsTo travel more comfortably during busy periods, avoid trains between 11:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. for the ascent.
For the descent, choose a train before 2:00 p.m. or at the end of the day.
