Discover birdwatching, wildlife, flora and geology at Bellevue (Les Houches cable car)! Spotting scope, binoculars and raptor silhouettes provided. Join us Aug 7, 9, 14, 16, 20, 21 & 23, 11am–3pm.
Come explore an exceptional site at Bellevue, near the Les Houches cable car station, where several nature-focused topics will be covered. On the birdwatching side, a spotting scope, binoculars and raptor silhouettes will be available to help observe and identify the birds found here. We will also discuss wildlife in general, as well as local flora, with particular attention to the phenology of blueberries. The geological history of the site and its glaciers will be covered too, along with the impact of climate change on mountain ecosystems.
Join us at Bellevue, near the Les Houches cable car station, from 11am to 3pm on the following dates: Friday August 7, Sunday August 9, Friday August 14, Sunday August 16, Thursday August 20, Friday August 21, and Sunday August 23.
