"I'd like to take you on an imaginary journey through the mountains!
I walk a lot in the mountains, at night, during the day, in the rain, in the wind, in the sun. I collect feelings, images, emotions from the sky, smells, etc. I don't take photos, I just feel the moment!
Back in my studio, I work in oils, on my canvases, with all these sensations stored up in my head.
I paint without photos, without magazine pictures, just with my feelings, I go on an adventure with each canvas! I suggest mornings, evenings, serenity, reflections, storms and so on!
And I only paint with the colour Blue! I have about fifteen different shades of blue. It's a colour that offers a very wide range of shades and allows me to create lots of different worlds with just one colour! I just have a tube of white to enhance the overall effect.
During my exhibitions, I invite the public to travel with their own experience, with their own images! Their own feelings!
What better way to start a dialogue, a story between visitors. Everyone can express their own experiences through the works.
Whether you're a child or an adult, a keen traveller or a sedentary person, I can take you on an inner journey.
That's the great principle of art!
Sometimes you can recognise summits in my oil paintings? And why not?
I leave everyone free to explore.
The mountains, like art, are as much an individual experience as a collective one!
That's what I'd like you to explore through my oil paintings!
