In a remote region of the Caucasus Mountains in Azerbaijan, Samid, a TV repairman, dusts off his old Soviet-era 35mm projector and dreams of reopening his village’s movie theater. Obstacles pile up until he finds an unexpected ally, Ayaz, a young man passionate about cinema and its technical aspects. The two film buffs will use every trick in the book to make the light shine on the screen once again.
