The meeting between the Gabriel Loppé Quartet, from the valleys of Mont Blanc, and the Franco-Japanese artist Yumi Kitayama has resulted in this exceptional concert, which brings together the taiko (traditional Japanese drum) and the classical string quartet.

In this concert, the harmony of the string quartet blends with the captivating and powerful sounds of the Taiko. The audience will be invited to listen to old songs from the Japanese repertoire, as well as discover music from Miyazaki's animated films rewritten for string quartet and Taiko.
