From Doctor Paccard's first attempts in 1784, through the founding of the Compagnie des Guides in 1864, to the Jannu expedition in 1962, Val-Montjoie has been a land of mountaineers and alpinists. This anniversary is an opportunity to recall the great feats achieved and to evoke the "mountain culture" of our municipality.
