In the heart of the Lumières Saint-Gervais Festival, discover the Life Art Process®. Improvisational dance, somatic practices, and outdoor activities.
As “the evening descends, calm and silent,” the installations come to life: sounds and lights burst forth, tinging the architecture and mountains with poetry. We travel with new sensations and explore the relationship with the works, the environment, and the group: how does it inform, nourish, and influence us? What is it like to contemplate and be seen? What imaginations invite themselves into play, wonder, and celebration?
The Life Art Process® is a practice that draws on the expressive power of the body in motion, combined with improvisation, drawing, and creative writing.
The workshops are spaces for experimentation and expression that allow us to discover unexpected resources, explore new possibilities, nourish our
art and our lives, and reveal and share who we are.
No experience or level required. Open to everyone.
You will need clothing that allows you to move around while staying warm,
as most of the workshop will take place outdoors; a water bottle; something to keep you dry
if necessary. You may bring a notebook and pen.
- The ARTiVi association will provide drawing and writing materials.
- Photos: we may take some photos during the workshop. We will
discuss this at the beginning of the workshop in order to obtain the consent of all
participants.
- The workshop will be led by Mélanie Didillon, a certified Life Art Process® practitioner at the
Tamalpa Institute. Learn more about the LIFE ART PROCESS®:

- In case of snow, the workshop will be adapted with less time outdoors and more time
indoors. In case of heavy rain, the workshop may be postponed or canceled.
