We hope to see many of you at the 5th edition of the literary prize ceremony. The programme includes: the announcement and presentation of the prize, a book signing and drinks reception, and a panel discussion with the 2026 winner and previous winners.
Established five years ago on the initiative of Laurence Viénot, the Prize recognises an author who has already published four, five or six novels and who, through the quality of their writing, style and imagination, is taking their literary body of work to the next level.
It is this body of work that the Prize encourages and supports.
The Naissance d’une œuvre Prize is worth €20,000.
The jury has shortlisted three novels:
- L’affaire de la rue Transnonain by Jérôme Chantreau (La Tribu)
- Retour à Balbec by Renaud Meyer (Buchet-Chastel)
- Jan by Emmanuelle Pol (Finitude)
The jury comprises Nicolas de Tavernost, Laurence Viénot, Sylvain Fort, Michèle Gazier, Vincent Gombault, Patrice Hoffmann, Marie Llobères, Erika Menu, Claudine Ripert-Landler, Catriona Seth and Ingmar Vallano.
