Kabul, 15 August 2021. As American troops prepare to leave the country, the Taliban storm the capital and seize power. In the midst of the chaos, thousands of Afghans try to take refuge in the last remaining safe haven: the French Embassy. Major Mohamed Bida and his men were the only ones to ensure its security. Caught in a trap, he decides to negotiate with the Taliban to organise a last-chance convoy with the help of Eva, a young Franco-Afghan humanitarian. Then begins a race against time to evacuate the refugees to the airport and escape the hell of Kabul before it's too late.

Based on the incredible true story of Commander Mohamed Bida (from the novel of the same name published by Editions Denoêl).
