Permanent exhibition " Le mont Blanc, côté Val Montjoie"

This exhibition traces the first conquests of Mont Blanc at the end of the 18th century, the first mountaineers, including some of the great figures who passed through Saint-Gervais, up to the ascent of the summit of Europe offered today by the Saint-Gervais/Les Contamines Guide Company. Through prints, old and contemporary equipment, archival documents and contemporary works, this exhibition invites visitors to discover the ascent of Mont Blanc alongside passionate guides.

For families, games and booklets are available at the reception desk to help them explore the exhibition in a fun and entertaining way, and there is a small drawing/library area within the exhibition.
