-7.30pm: Classical concert – violin/piano duo – Rino Yoshimoto and Karen Kuronuma – Saint-Gervais Church
Japanese violinist Rino Yoshimoto and Japanese pianist Karen Kuronuma highlight a dialogue between European and Japanese repertoires. Sonatas by Grieg and Debussy frame Hamabe no Uta, a traditional song stylised by Narita, and Small Sky by Takemitsu, an emblematic miniature of his art of refinement. A journey that reveals the connections between Western lyricism and 20th-century Japanese sensibility.
