The Haute-Savoie region hosts numerous national and international competitions and major sporting events, all of which contribute to the region’s liveliness, dynamism and appeal. As a major partner in these events, the Département de la Haute-Savoie aims to raise the profile of the region and enable the people of Haute-Savoie to share their passions and discover disciplines that are often spectacular.

Haute-Savoie is a privileged playground. Its mountains and lakes offer an ideal setting for a wide range of sporting activities, from beginners to the very highest levels. Cradle of skiing and winter sports, it is also a natural setting for water sports and all outdoor sports.

The Haute-Savoie department, partner of the Nid d’Aigle climb, encourages all its participants!

Le Tramway du Mont Blanc partner of the Montée du Nid d’Aigle supports this event organized by the tourist office and the town of Saint Gervais, which allows runners to discover beyond the physical performance magical landscapes and a unique site.

As every year participants can at the end of their ascent enjoy a well-deserved rest by taking the Mont Blanc tramway back to the valley.
