Le Valléen A year-round alternative to the car

Le Valléen in Saint-Gervais-Mont-Blanc embodies the company’s commitment to eco-mobility and accessibility. Conceived in response to the challenges of sustainable mobility, this innovative project consists of a gondola lift linking the Le Fayet SNCF train station to the village of Saint-Gervais, offering a year-round alternative to the car. Saint-Gervais-Mont-Blanc, an emblematic destination at the foot of Mont Blanc, is at the forefront of sustainable mobility in the mountains. Thanks to Le Valléen, the resort is moving towards a more sustainable and environmentally-friendly development model, while enhancing the experience of residents and visitors alike. Commissioning of this ambitious project is scheduled for 2024, marking a major milestone in the resort’s evolution towards a more sustainable, virtuous future accessible to all.

Eco-mobility & road traffic reduction

The Le Valléen gondola lift aims to reinvent daily mobility for high-school students, workers, residents and visitors alike, with reduced environmental impact and enhanced quality of life for residents and visitors alike. With an estimated 25% reduction in daily road traffic, and a reduction of 15,000 vehicles per year on the downtown parking lot, the Valléen will help to relieve traffic congestion.
