Our municipal swimming pool has gone to great lengths to welcome you in the best conditions and let you make the most of our aquatic space. Imagine enjoying the swimming pool or the large leisure pool! In summer, we open up access to our outdoor pool with slide and put a snack bar at your disposal. A place accessible to all for a great time.

And that’s not counting the paddling pool for toddlers and the wellness area with sauna, hammam and solarium.

The lakes around Saint-Gervais for a nature walk

The advantage of the mountains is that you have an insane amount of nature activities nearby.

Set off in the morning for a cool hike and stop for lunch by theLac de Joux for a family picnic. If you prefer fishing, head for the Lac du Vivier a few kilometers further south.

Inversely, if you want to enjoy a day without walking, take the unmissable Tramway du Mont-Blanc. It will take you from the village of Fayet to the Nid d’Aigle at the end of 12.4 km of breathtaking ascent.

If you want to get away from it all for a while, take your car in the direction of Lac Passy and Sallanches, where you can swim in complete safety on a balmy summer afternoon.

Summer sports activities in Saint-Gervais Mont-Blanc

The mountain in summer rhymes with mild temperatures, blue skies, activities for all and, above all, space for oneself. And there’s no shortage of outdoor activities. So get your best shoes ready, the mountains are waiting for you!

Lunch in a refuge and enjoy breathtaking views

Take the route from Saint-Gervais and reach the Refuge du Nid d’Aigle after a 7.5km walk. The 1,700 m ascent can also be reached by streetcar. The refuge’s restaurant welcomes you for a leisurely lunch surrounded by the endemic flora and fauna of the Alps.

Take the time to walk up to the glacier du Bionnassay, you may come across a few ibex. Before heading back down to Saint-Gervais, take a rest on the terrasse du Refuge du Nid d’Aigle to enjoy a breathtaking view of the glacier.

Closer to Saint-Gervais is the Refuge de Miage. Come and enjoy a leisurely day hike around the refuge with your family. A Tour de France stopover lodge, the refuge has plenty of beds, so you can also rest in peace and quiet between two stages on a multi-day hike. Experience the adventure of tree climbing

The Mont-Blanc Parc Aventure located in the small village of Fayet welcomes your bursts of laughter for an emotionally-charged day of accrobranche.

Enjoy the shade of the thermal park’s trees and make your way along one of our secure fun courses. Pass over monkey bridges, zip lines, footbridges and other obstacles to finish your course. We offer courses to suit all levels and tastes.

A bike ride to the Alpine peaks

Prepare your best shorts, get on your bike and set off to conquer the mountains! The most courageous will climb the passes at the strength of their calves, while others can take more accessible routes and discover the landscapes on their mountain bikes or electric-assist bikes.

A number of cycling routes (classified: easy, moderate or difficult) invite you to criss-cross the paths of our pretty village, hike through the mountain pastures, contemplate Mont-Blanc while picnicking and speed back down to Saint-Gervais. Open your lungs wide and treat yourself!
