An idea for a walk to discover the rich heritage in the grandiose setting of the Mont Blanc Country. Join the baroque churches and chapels of Saint Gervais and Saint Nicolas de Véroce along this path without difficulty.

The baroque buildings bear witness to the Catholic Counter-Reformation led by Bishop Saint François de Sales against Protestantism between the 17th and 18th centuries. Savoy, then independent, carries this renewal of Catholicism by the construction of places of worship with baroque architecture, characterized by the presence of light, colors and movements, The churches of Saint Gervais and Saint Nicolas de Véroce are magnificent illustrations. During your walk, you will have the opportunity to admire the Oratory of Brettey, the Chapels of the Gollet, the Combe, the Plans, the Oratory of Crozat, the Chapel of Chattrix and the Church of Saint Nicholas of Verona. Departure from the St Gervais gondola.
Cross the avenue du Mont d'Arbois (main avenue going towards Megève) to take the cable car road to the old Carlina hotel.

Then take the Eglantiers road which starts on the left of the hotel and joins the Orsin road (road leading to the Bettex). At this level, go back slightly on your left then cross the road to take in front of you the road of the castle (follow the direction of "the Cupellin Farm").

It will take you about 15 minutes from the starting point to reach the top of this road and reach the Ponthieux road and the Baroque Trail.

You can now take a left by following the trail markings or make a small hook that will only take you 5 minutes to see the chapel of Cupelin (right then immediately in front of the road of Cupelin and finally right the path of the Chapel).
