The chapel in Veroce was built between 1705 and 1707 through donations from the Revenaz brothers from Le Pontet, merchants who immigrated to Poland.
The restoration of the chapel in 2021-2022 has restored the 18th-century decoration of the altarpiece, which was repainted in the 19th century.

- History, culture and heritagePiety in the Baroque period was very demonstrative, and parishioners tried to make donations or participate in charitable works. Donations enabled wealthy merchants, for example, to show their generosity and interest in their birthplace, but also to ensure the salvation of their souls, i.e. the forgiveness of sins and eternal life. The chapel, built between 1705 and 1707, is placed under the protection of Notre Dame des Carmes, Saint Joseph and Saint Mammé, a 3rd century martyr.
