Distillerie Saint-Gervais Mont-Blanc

The main dear points to this project are:
- celebrating the makers in the mountains
- celebrating and protecting the nature
- fighting against pollution

The Mont Blanc Distillerie operates fully sustainably and this Mont Blanc Gin is the chance to prove that you can make things without ruining the Earth. No plastic. No glues. Solar power. Recycled materials.
We just want to explore and embrace the Mont Blanc’s natural gifts to produce Mountain Lovers Spirits.

James Abbott (the founder) is a charismatic Scottish man that lived many adventures but eventually found his place in Saint-Gervais and on the Mont Blanc. He personally hand dug and built the foundation of our distillery in the forest above Saint Gervais. With the support of locals and Tom Nichols (who helped him with the distilling and recipe) he is now realizing one of his dreams: create a gin that is truly hand crafted and made with local ingredients from his favorite place in the world.

The highest distillery in Europe (with the most complications and adjustments that this implies) has the aim to support the surrounding area and community, and ensure that the mountain spirit continues for the next generation. James has the intention to create the Mont Blanc foundation which will give back through his distillery to protect our dear mountain from pollution.
