Description
A friendly day centred on sharing for the first edition of ‘Goûter en Or’, a charity event organised by the ‘Tous avec Quentin’ charity in partnership with the Gustave-Roussy Institute, to raise funds for the fight against paediatric cancers.
As part of ‘Septembre en Or’, the international month of awareness for paediatric cancers, the event will bring together families, local residents, holidaymakers and local organisations in support of a vital cause: supporting children and teenagers with cancer and advancing research.
Young and old alike will be able to enjoy a wide range of activities: bouncy castles, wooden games, a climbing wall supervised by qualified mountain guides, an adventure park, a miniature train, musical entertainment and awareness-raising sessions. A food court, a refreshment bar and a gourmet snack stand will also be available.
Visitors will be able to meet the charity’s volunteers, find out about its work and support the cause via the charity shop.
A family-friendly, festive event open to all, designed to raise awareness, share experiences and help advance research into paediatric cancers.
Come and make Saint-Gervais shine in gold!
Every year in France, thousands of children and teenagers are diagnosed with cancer. Behind every diagnosis lies a courageous battle fought not only by the young patients themselves but also by their families.
Through this partnership with the Gustave Roussy Institute, the event aims to raise public awareness of this reality whilst contributing to the outpouring of solidarity that is essential for funding research and supporting families.
