Description
Let the Corsican duo Fiuminale take you on a musical journey!
With over forty years of stage experience and more than 2,000 concerts performed in France and abroad, Maxime Merlandi and Jean-Philippe Guissani embody the essence of Corsican song today. Their duo, Fiuminale, builds on a rich career, notably marked by their time with the Barbara Furtuna Quartet, a major ensemble that helped bring Corsican polyphony to international prominence.
Throughout their projects, the two artists have collaborated with L’Arpeggiata, Placido Domingo, Roberto Alagna, Constantinople, Bélem, and Zadeja, and have performed in over thirty countries, on prestigious stages such as Carnegie Hall in New York, the Konzerthaus in Berlin, and the Salle Pleyel in Paris.
On stage, Fiuminale offers a powerful yet intimate vocal performance where two voices rise, respond to one another, and unite. Each recital becomes a moment of shared connection, carried by a sensitive dialogue with the audience. The harmonies, the resonance of the voices, and the understated musical gestures create a profound experience: an inner journey as much as a collective, authentic, and vibrant bond.
