Come and discover the plants that surround us: calendula, St. John's wort, plantain, yarrow, and more. Learn how to make preparations using plants and simple ingredients, such as oil macerates.
The workshop is led by Clémence Cardot and based on her book co-written with Charlotte Passelègue: “Les Fleurs des Montagnes” (mountain flowers, do you know it?).
You will learn about the properties of wild plants, how to recognize them, and how to pick them. You will also learn about the choice of vegetable oils and the different processes for preparing oil macerates. You will make your own medicinal balm tailored to your needs and based on the ingredients provided.
You can make a balm for bites and itching, bruises and contusions, stuffy noses, cuts and scrapes, aches and muscle pain, and more.
You will leave with a personalized preparation, along with a guide to medicinal plants and the recipe for making the balm.
