Mon jeudi cinéma: LE MOINE ET LE FUSIL

2006. Bhutan is opening up to modernisation and discovering the Internet, television and democracy. To teach its people to vote, the government organises white elections, but in the land of Gross National Happiness, where religion and the king are more important than politics, the inhabitants seem to have little motivation. However, in a remote mountain province, a monk decides to organise a mysterious ceremony on voting day and instructs one of his disciples to find a gun.
