Description
Get a taste of mountain navigation on a fun hike between Saint-Nicolas and Les Chattrix!
Starting at the Church of Saint-Nicolas de Véroce, this themed hike introduces you to the basics of navigation and map reading in the mountains, all the way to the hamlet of Les Chattrix.
Led by a mid-mountain guide from the Compagnie des Guides, this fun and educational outing will teach you how to navigate in the field: map reading, understanding terrain, using natural landmarks, and an introduction to the compass. An ideal experience to gain independence while enjoying an exceptional natural setting.
Open to ages 8 and up, this activity takes place in small groups (maximum 10 participants), encouraging interaction and hands-on practice.
