Alexia, Charly and Yves Jacquemoud, from Les Contamines-Montjoie, present their photography and drawing exhibition from August 2–10, 2026, at Salle Géo Dorival in Saint-Gervais: wild mountain fauna and landscapes with unusual atmospheres.

In this family exhibition titled "The Hidden Face of Mont Blanc," they aim to introduce the general public to the special moments Nature offers to those who take the time to stop and blend into their surroundings. They showcase the richness and diversity of the natural environment in which they live. Yves Jacquemoud, the father, a former naturalist guide, has practiced wildlife photography for over 40 years — a pursuit that demands deep knowledge of the mountain environment, along with great patience and perseverance. Charly, his son, naturally follows in his footsteps. A forester by trade, he crossed paths with the Lynx 24 times in 4 years and managed to capture it on camera on several occasions. Alexia, his daughter, is a geologist. She also takes photographs, but focuses instead on capturing every detail of each species through realistic drawings. Thanks to their sensitivity, skill, and knowledge of the natural world, they capture moments of wild life, discreetly hidden in blinds to avoid disturbing the animals. This exhibition offers a chance to discover their graphic and photographic work, portraying wild and free species — some endemic, some little-known — encountered in their natural habitat.
