Description
A photography exhibition by astrophotographer Aude Nowak, showcasing the landscapes of the Alps and Chile under the stars. An invitation to dream and marvel at what lies above familiar and lesser-known landscapes at night.
As an astrophotographer, Aude focuses her work on photographing night-time landscapes in the mountains and in inhospitable terrain.
Her work aims to offer both a record and a sense of wonder. A record of what exists, yet is fleeting, and to which not everyone necessarily has access. A sense of wonder, through the emotion and inspiration offered by contemplating the Universe.
Her work, recognised both nationally and internationally, is regularly exhibited in France, Switzerland and across Europe.
This exhibition is the result of astrophotography work carried out between 2020 and 2025 at high altitudes, at night, in the cold and/or snow, in France, Switzerland and Chile. It takes you on a journey through the distant and wild night-time landscapes of our planet.
You will indeed be able to discover not only the night skies of both hemispheres of the planet, but also distant landscapes that are little known or unknown, and in any case hostile and difficult to access. The skies of the northern hemisphere are represented by the landscapes of the Alps (France, Switzerland, and the border with Italy), whilst the skies of the southern hemisphere are represented by the landscapes of Chile.
